Shabat and Chagim at Lavi

Shabbat  “Simcha” at Lavi

Kibbutz Lavi Hotel has many years of experience organizing Shabbat affairs and celebrations. After     successfully holding hundreds of “Simchas” in our hotel, we are pleased to give you the following information which will help you in planning your special Shabbat.

First of all and most importantly, a member of our staff will be at your side from the moment the reservation is made until the last guests are on their way home. Together with the family, our Lavi representative will help plan all the details of the Simcha according to the following Lavi Simcha Guide:

v     Synagogue – A synagogue will be set aside for the use of the Simcha party. While other guests are not prevented from joining the services, they do so with understanding that the service is being run by the Simcha family.

v     Dining room – The Simcha party will be seated in a separate section of the dining room – in accordance with size of group and hotel occupancy.

v     Schedule – We are attaching a sample schedule. Adjustments may be made by prior arrangement with the hotel.

v     Accommodations – Our hotel has 188 rooms in three separate sections – the new wing (“Hod”), the main building (“Lev”) + “Garden” rooms and “Hadar” rooms – which
we just finished building this year 2008.

v     Board arrangements – The standard for Shabbat at Lavi is full board, which means two meat meals and one dairy buffet. We provide cake & fruit in the rooms on Friday afternoon, coffee & cake on Shabbat morning and free self –service coffee & tea at the beverage stations located throughout the hotel. Additional refreshments (Reception, Oneg Shabbat, etc.) are available at an extra charge. See attached price list.

v     The menu – Our very rich and varied Shabbat menu is included in the basic price. You may order a variety of extra dishes from the “extras” price list.

v     Drinks – Soft drinks for the meals can be ordered at an extra charge according to the attached price list.

v     Wines – Kiddush wine is included in the standard Shabbat menu. Additional wines can be selected from our fine wine list for an extra charge.

v     Tablecloths & napkins – Choose from a variety of colors.

v     Flowers – In addition to the flower arrangements decorating the hall – it is possible to order special arrangements according to the price list.

And to top it all off – A heartwarming “heimish” atmosphere

Linger over your Shabbat meals as long as you wish

and relish your very special simcha to your heart’s delight
